Make School is hosting a competition for the 2017 Summer Academy Students!

Students at Summer Academy locations coast to coast in the US, as well as in Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong and Beirut, are invited to participate!

Submit the iOS app, game or VR experience that you designed, coded and launched at Make School. Your project will get exposure to the global Make School community and there’s a chance to win prizes!

What is Make School?

Make School is a computer science and product development school based out of Silicon Valley. The Online Academy is a free resource for iOS Development. The Summer Academy empowers students with beginner to advanced coding skills to launch an iOS app, game, or VR experience. Lastly, the Product College is a 2-year Computer Science program. It's a debt free college alternative relevant to today's fast paced economy.

Our goal for the competition is to inspire as many students as possible to build and ship a product, as well as to connect Make School Alumni from across the world.

Eligibility

This competition is open to 2017 Summer Academy Students. Must be at least 13 years of age or older.

The competition welcomes submitters from most countries around the globe. However, individuals or organizations may be disqualified if they are based in a nation, state, province, or territory where U.S. or local law prohibits participating in the competition or receiving a prize. This includes individuals, who are residents of, and organizations domiciled in Brazil, Quebec, Cuba, Sudan, Iran, North Korea, Mexico, Syria or any other country designated by the United States Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Requirements

Any applicable intellectual property rights to a submission will remain with the participant.

Language: All submission materials must be in English, as well as all written materials. If the video, text description, and testing instructions are not in English, an English translation or subtitles must be provided.

Applicant agrees that entry details may be used in marketing materials by Make School.
